Our students participated in the International Sustainability Week event in Germany
A group of students from our department participated in the South Westphalia International Sustainability Week (ISW), which was held in Soest, Germany, from May 18 to 24, 2025. Hosted by Fachhochschule Südwestfalen University of Applied Sciences and supported by the Erasmus+ program, this international event featured various thematic tracks structured around the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals and attracted strong participation from diverse countries. Our students took part in the 5th track, “Hydrogen as a Clean Energy Carrier,” engaging in lectures and workshops to gain both theoretical and practical knowledge about hydrogen technologies and their role in sustainable energy systems. During the event, our faculty member Prof. Dr. Sinan Kandemir delivered lectures on “Hydrogen Storage Systems,” sharing the latest advancements with the international audience.
We were proud to represent our department in this highly productive and culturally enriching event.
