Mission and Vision
Mission
The mission of the Department of Mechanical Engineering is to conduct advanced technological research based on innovation, to transfer the resulting knowledge to industry, and to educate engineers who possess strong technical skills, engineering foresight, problem-solving abilities, and leadership qualities. The department aims to graduate qualified engineers who are preferred in R&D centers, various industrial sectors, and graduate programs at both national and international levels, and who can quickly adapt to technological changes.
Vision
The vision of Mechanical Engineering Department is to create an academic environment where research-oriented undergraduate and graduate education is provided, research in advanced technological areas based on innovation is conducted, and research results can be transferred to industry; to train highly educated, environmentally sensitive, ethical and idealistic mechanical engineers, to contribute to social development and regional development.
