With the support of Siemens San. ve Tic. AŞ, the inauguration of the “Siemens Digital Industry Laboratory”, established within the IZTECH Department of Mechanical Engineering building, was held on February 15, 2024, with the participation of IZTECH senior management, academic and administrative staff, students, as well as Siemens Turkey CEO Hüseyin Gelis and Siemens executives.

The Siemens Computer Laboratory is used for educational and research activities in the field of CAD-CAM-CAE applications. In this laboratory, students learn to solve entry-level Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) problems using STAR CCM+ software, while also conducting solid modeling, engineering design, and digital prototyping studies using Siemens NX software. In this way, students gain hands-on experience in both analytical and design-oriented engineering approaches.
